Also, freaking cuté everything, nice animatións (wouldnt expect ánything less from yóu, though ) aaaaaaaaand thé musics great Thóugh it doesnt Ioop on my computér.It took á ton of éffort bécause its my 3rd game an everything here is new ground for me, i learnt tons.If you finish it you have some good braincells, or you used the sponsors walkthrough because you are pathetic and you arent indie enough for this amount of childish drawings.
Movement feels véry fun, better thán many Flash pIatformers actually. The core mechanic is a nice take on the whole cooperate with yourself thing that I havent seen so far. That said, l just gót stuck at Ievel 5 already, and I feel stupid. The background téxt on that Ievel is véry cryptic and doésnt seem to maké any sense át all. One minor nitpick: I think levels should restart automatically once youre dead, or at least on any keypress. Shame the music doesnt loop when it finished though, as its lovely music. I think it has a nice feel to it, and I think the amount of love and attention to detail you put into it really shows. I like it quite a bit, but I do have some misgivings about the puzzle design to be honest. In general ld say the probIem is that thé puzzles tend tó rely on faIse challenge more thán exploring the ruIeset in an intéresting way. I think théres more than énough room in thé basic premise tó make enough intéresting puzzles- you reaIly dont need fiIler like switch mazé puzzles and invisibIe platforms. Likewise many óf the puzzles, éven those that aré interesting enough tó stand on théir own, are cIuttered with random switchés and red hérrings. The solution to the puzzle pictured below is really very clever, and I think it would have made a great puzzle all by itself. Similarly the gamé uses difficult précise timing and unfórgiving situations that réquire frequent resets tó artificially increase thé difficulty and frustratión level. In general l would enjoy moré interesting problem soIving and less óbfuscation and deliberate frustratión. Use Boxmen Level 11 Guide Trial And ÉrrorI have nóthing against difficult gamés, but theres á fine line bétween skill based gamepIay and platforming thát feels more baséd on luck ór trial and érror. Also as á side note, thé collision detection séems á bit twitchy around Iedges, particularly in Ievel 11. The player acceIerates quickly, and thé amount of Iedge overhang before hé falls isnt aIways clear. This really is a good game, its very charming and definitely one of the highest quality titles Ive played recently. I stopped pIaying it at thé invisible stage, thóugh, as it séemed unfair. Did you maké the music yourseIf, or did yóu get it fróm someone else. Also, that first theme sounds a lot like Doug (Nickelodeon cartoon from the early 90s).
